Home-Style Boarding & Daycare
Welcome to My Guilty Dogs LLC (“We, ” “Us,” or “Our”). By creating an account and booking
services with us, you (“Pet Owner” or “You”) agree to the following terms for the care of your
pet(s).
We provide home-style boarding — dogs sleep free in safe rooms under supervision, not in
kennels. A kennel/crate will only be used if the owner authorizes it or if the dog is sick,
recovering, or requires separation for safety. Dogs not suited for kennels will have a spacious,
quiet room instead.
1. Services & Payment
● Boarding rate: $60/night + tax, daycare included until pick-up on the last day.
● Last-day daycare: $40 full-day + tax, $20 half-day (up to 5 hours) + tax.
● All rates are subject to Connecticut sales tax.
● Payment is due at pick-up (or may be made while en-route before pick-up).
●Drop-off: Before 2:00 PM so your dog can settle in with the group. Late drop-offs may
be refused for the dog’s well-being.
●Pick-up: Before 7:00 PM. For neighborhood harmony, if your dog is a heavy barker or
gets highly excited when you arrive, we recommend pick-up after 9:00 AM and before
5:00 PM to avoid disturbing neighbors.
2. Cancellations
We do not charge deposits or cancellation fees. However, if a client cancels three consecutive
confirmed reservations, they must wait one month before booking again.
Please give notice as early as possible to help us plan.
3. Pet Health
● All dogs must be healthy, up-to-date on vaccinations, clean, and flea-free. Proof of
vaccines is required before entry.
● We do not accept dogs younger than 8 months. This helps ensure your puppy’s
immune system is better developed before joining group activities
● We do not require dogs to be spayed or neutered before 1 year old; however, females in
heat are not accepted. If a female comes into heat while in our care, we will contact the
emergency contact for immediate pick-up.
● Dogs needing medication must have doses in original containers with clear written
instructions.
● We do not accept aggressive dogs. All pets must be 100% friendly with people and
dogs.
● Dogs with separation anxiety or who become stressed in groups over 10 will have a
gradual adaptation process; if they do not adapt, we may decline continued boarding for
their well-being.
4. Veterinary Care & Emergencies
If your dog becomes sick or injured:
● We will first try to contact you or your emergency contact.
● If unreachable and urgent, we will seek veterinary care immediately at your expense.
● If an incident occurs due to our negligence, we will cover the related veterinary costs.
● Natural illnesses (e.g., diarrhea, vomiting, viruses) are the owner’s responsibility.
5. Group Play & Supervision
Socialization is part of our boarding experience. We group dogs by size, age, and temperament,
and supervise at all times. Risks exist when dogs interact, but we work to keep play safe and
positive.
6. Personal Belongings
Please bring only your dog’s food and leash. We do not use harnesses or shock collars — we
provide our own safe equipment.
We are not responsible for damage or loss of bowls, beds, or toys, so we request you not bring
them.
7. Photos & Videos
You give us permission to photograph or video your pet during their stay for use in social media,
marketing, and promotional materials.
8. Communicable Diseases & Parasites
We take every reasonable step to keep your dog healthy, including requiring proof of vaccines,
maintaining clean spaces, and supervising all interactions. However, when dogs spend time
together, there is always some level of risk of exposure to illnesses or parasites.
Some examples of conditions that can occur in group settings include:
● Canine Cough (Kennel Cough / Bordetella) – a respiratory infection that spreads through the air.
● Giardia – a parasite that can cause digestive upset.
● Canine Influenza – a contagious flu-like virus.
● Eye Infections (Conjunctivitis) – irritation or infection of the eyes.
● Papilloma Virus (Oral Warts) – harmless but contagious growths in the mouth.
● Tick-borne Illnesses (e.g., Lyme Disease) – transmitted by tick bites.
Vaccines can greatly reduce the risk or severity of some illnesses, but no vaccine can give
100% protection. Some conditions have no vaccines available.
By boarding or attending daycare, you understand and accept that your dog may be exposed to
these conditions, even in a well-run and clean facility. If your dog develops symptoms during or
after their stay, veterinary care will be at your expense unless directly caused by our negligence.
9. Abandonment
If a pet is not picked up within 10 days after the scheduled pick-up date, we may consider the
pet abandoned and surrender it to a humane society, shelter, or rescue. You will remain
responsible for all fees until that date.
10. Daycare
● Daycare dogs must be picked up before 7:00 PM.
● Dogs not picked up by closing will stay overnight and be charged the boarding rate plus
food if needed.
By booking services, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
